I pick Glock. I have not had a sheild, but I had a M&P9 and a M&P9c. I sold them and kept the Glock.

Voted for the Gen4 G19. I wanted the exact gun, but picked up a new Gen3 G17 at Academy recently.

If it's for CC only, I'd change my vote to the Shield with its slimmer profile and superior trigger. If it's a CC/SD combo, I stay with the Glock. It's a great combination of toughness, accuracy, concealability and reliability.
