Red vs Green Lasers

Can someone share some wisdom on what are the advantages or disadvantages of red versus green lasers. Thanks.

My understanding is green lasers are easier to see in the daylight. But I have always had red.

Got it, Green is better during the day. Any difference during the night - - my only experience has been with red.

A buddy has a green Verdian and it's easy to see at night but I think they're both easy to see at night.

Cats seem to go for the red ones a lot more when playing around with them. Dogs don't seem to have a preference for either red or green.

I thought the green/red had something to do with night vision and being able to see the beam?

I assume you're saying that the Green came about due to NV?
