I wonder that myself. I'm committing myself to not jacking it for at least a week if I can bear it. From everything I've read duracoat is about as durable as it gets so hopefully it will "wear in, not out" like they claim
I have about 1K rounds through my duracoated Defender 1300 and where the slide runs it has barley scratched the surface...
just be sure to degrease it well (acetone or like) and sand it down well.
Any tips for a sight that I could throw on this thing? Not really necessary but i'd like to have a sight of some sort on it.
