Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308

Just wondering what everyone this about this rifle?

I don't have any expirence with that rifle personally, but I must say I bought a bolt action .308 and I am very impressed with the caliber, it has lived up to my expectations. Very accurate and deadly.

Yea thanks for the replies. i bought one in march and i love it i was just wondering if anyone had heard anything bad about it or sutff like that. mine is really accurate right out of the box i am very pleased and its gonna be a good gun for me to go up to alaska with.

Bought one about two months ago and have been very happy with it. I put it in an HS precision stock and mounted a Wotac scope on it. Super accurate with the Varget 175 SMK load I worked up for it.

What are you going to use it for in Alaska?

i was planning on using if for some elk/moose up there.

I got one. Put a super sniper scope, changed out the trigger and put a compensator on it. Put a Bell and carlson(i think was it) stock on it. Oh and put a better handle on the bolt. I like it. Shot it in a 1000 yard match at Red Castle. I've got no regrets.

I have killed Elk with .308 Federal gamekings, and it only took one shot.
