Remington 870 Express Magnum

OK guys. I am not a big shotgun person but I may have found a wood stock Remington 870 Express Magnum. The BBL said 12ga 2 3/4 and 3".
What would be a fair price on this gun? It is a very nice gun with no box, papers,or anything with it. Thank you all for any info. JB

What's the barrel length? Is it a 5 shot, or 7 shot? What kind of sights does it have on it? Is it factory wood?
If it's a 5 shot, you won't be able to add a +2 extension without some grinding on it.
Need more info before I could take a shot at a $ value.

It is a 28" BL with factory wood. I think it is a 5 shot. gun. If I buy it its going down to get SBS stamp on it.
Here are a few pic. of a gun just like it, not the same one, but the BBL and REC. Stamping is the same.

If it's like new, but is missing the box and manuals, I'd probably pay $250, but no more than $275. Sell the 28" barrel for ~ $100, and you're into it for $150 before you start your SBS project. Good luck, and can't wait to see it when it's complete.

Brand new 870 Express can be had for $280 at Academy. Darn good gun for the money.
