Remington R-1 1911

One of my buddies bought one earlier this year and it has been a great gun as long as we feed it ball ammo. We can't get it to feed more than two hollow points at a time. I'm sure there not all like that but we can't figure out what is wrong with his. He is suppose to be sending it back to Remington.

It's probably internally cut just like the original version, and therefore may ONLY ever feed ball ammunition reliably, unless it's improved (modified) by a competent gunsmith/pistolsmith. Nothing wrong with ball ammo except maybe too much awesomeness.
