Ruger 10/22 FTE

After a barrel swap to and E.R. Shaw .920 barrel, I am getting a few FTE's.
Case is always "stove piped" when it happens. 3-4 times out of a hundred.

Suggestions?

Try some different ammo. I put an Adams & Bennett bull barrel on mine and it had problems with CCI. Chamber is tight.

Had that happen to me after swapping stock barrel to GM bbl...I changed the extractor out with an aftermarket one and the problem went away.

I wondered if an extractor might be next.
It happens with Federal and Winchester ammo. Will try something else before I go the extractor route.
