Ruger 10/22 Scope Recommendations?

Like many of you, I have a Ruger 10/22. I think we'd all agree they're tons of fun. But the scope that came with mine is not all that great. Simmons, I believe.

I'm wanting something in the $100 range. I'm not going to purchase a $300+ scope for a $200 plinking/squirrel rifle.

Any suggestions/recommendations out there on a good 4X?

Check out Natchez. They have some inexpensive scopes that work just fine. I have a couple of Simmons 3x9x40 on mine, I think I gave under $40 for them.

Sorry, Gillman. I just edited the make of the scope on my 10/22. It's a Simmons. It's OK, but I think I can do better.

I'll have to check out the Natchez (Nachos!). I've heard good things about the Nikon Prostaff 4x32 as well.

I have a Nikon Prostaff 4x Rimfire scope on my 10/22 and have been very pleased with it. Midway has them for $109.

I don't really need any more on mine for what I use it for.

Natchez has a millett 3 x 9 for 79 bucks that should be pretty darn nice for the money

Natchez has a deal on a Nikon Buckmaster 4x for a $100. That is the model line above the Prostaff.

My brother got one and it is a great scope.
Perfect for a 10/22.
Been fighting the urge to buy one myself.
