Ruger Mki

Took this in trade. Not sure if im going to keep it,it looks nice, guy told me it is from the 70's.Anybody know about the mkI. I think it is 5 3/4 long barell[Broken External Image][Broken External Image]

All I know about the Ruger MK series is that they are a royal pain in the a-word to clean. Having said that....I would still like to have one. They are great little shooters.

My dad has a MKI and he loves it. It comes with him every time he shoots.

It's a good shooter, but it is tricky to reassemble after cleaning.

I shot it yesterday,it was super smooth. IT is a great pistol. The heel mag release takes getting use to but the action is awsome.

There is a bit of a "knack" to reassembling them, but once you get the hang of it they go back together very quickly.

I have both a MkI and MkII.

Great shooters.

magazines are different.

They're a diehard gun, like others here, would rather be beat than have to take mine apart and put it back together. They were made 1951 to 1982.

You might want to check the date on your camera. Pics are dated '02.

That's one of the pistols I'm looking for. Brother has a MkIII but I want a MkI or II. Love shooting them.
