Got a couple of satin stainless barrels with some rub marks from hunting.Any suggestions on removal of these.Not that it hurts anything it just bugs me.

sometimes you can "fake bead blast" buy taking 320 grit wet and dry and place it over the rub mark and take a plastic mallet and tap the area...just like bead blasting...only impact blasting. it works OK on small areas. KurtM

I carried a S&W 65 on duty for years. It would take a shiny polish where ever it came into contact with the leather holster, especially at the muzzle. I would use a small piece of plastic brillo pad (not metal!) and revove the shiny and get it back to the satin look. Takes just a minut and very little pressure.
