My 250 is in 9mm. I haven't seen one in .45. I guess I am not looking in the right place. I have to disagree with you tm8634. The 9mm grip is alot thinner than my P226 .40 grip. The biggest drawback to the P250 is the long trigger pull. Mine was just as accurate as my 226 out of the box. Overall, it is a great little (I have the P250c) gun to shoot.

Even though ATF already use's SIG P-series guns, SIG just got kicked in the sack over the 250 series of guns, and if you'll do some reading over on the SIG forum, you'll find earlier issues with all the 250 series guns.

I'll stick to my P220, P226, P225!!!!!!!

The grip on all Sigs are a little thicker than they need to be (I say that having owned 4 P226s, a P239, a P6, a P228, and having shot the P250).

I still like 'em, but it took some getting used to a fatter grip than say that of the M&P, or even the Glock (although the grip on the glock feels a lot like holding a bar of soap when it comes to comfort).

iv got two of them (the 2 sum package)and they are to thick , that is why I wouldnt carry one but we arent comparing it to anything but if we were I would agree 100% with IDP, if you are wanting it for a carry pistol...

Um, guys, if the medium grip is too thick, why don't you just get a small grip module? That's the beauty of the P250-it comes in three grip widths (except the subcompact-it only has two widths.)

That's the point - even the thin grip module for the P250 is a little on the thick side when compared to an M&P or other "thinner" grip.
