I have a Smith and Wesson model 28-2 4” up for sale. I was led to believe it was a Texas Highway Patrol revolver, and the DPS mark seems to corroborate that. It has the holster wear to prove it was a duty weapon, but it’s only cosmetic. She’s a shooter. Timing is good, lockup is tight, and there’s zero push off. Of course it’s pinned and recessed. I’ve only fired approx 25 .357 rounds through it, and I have about 200 .38’s through her.

I also have a Diamond D Guides Choice chest holster for an N frame. This is the only holster I have for the 28. If you buy the revolver, I’d let the rig go for another $150. I only wore this one deer season, and it’s pretty much as new.

I listed OKC, but I’m Edmond/Arcadia area.
Price for the 28 is $725 OBO

Price for the 28 and the chest holster (the way this should be worn IMO) is $875 OBO.

Naaaaaah, that looks more like torture and abuse. Hopefully the cylander and bore survived its cruel and unusual punishment

Looks like a typical service revolver to me. Beat up during war and peace but shoots good.
