Can you guys explain why on earth having a "pinned" 14.5" barrel is so great?
With my 16", I can have different flash hiders, golf ball launchers, suppressors and other goodies.
With that 14.5 your stuck unless you go the SBR route.
That little 1.5" difference doesn't amount to much and if it hangs on your equipment, learn to hold you gun differently.
Its kind of like the guys that used to buy the 12.5" bbls and put a 5.5" car flashhider pinned on.
I didn't understand that one either cause I could put a car slip-over on my 16", get the same look and actually be 1/2" shorter.
The upper I'm looking at is only offered in mid-length on a 14.5". I'm also looking at the 11.5" and 7.5" versions, but the ATF paperwork looks like a pain.
