When my son was a senior at Valliant, we had to play Eagletown. They had trounced us pretty good at Eagletown. They were an excellent run and gun team. Valliant's coach absolutely hated slow down ballgames, but this time that's what he ran. The final score was in the 50's or so for both teams.

Now, here's a dirty trick our coach pulled, but was completely legal. Toward the end of the game Eagletown had used all their timeouts. Our coach called a timeout and told the boys, "If the ball goes out of bounds or a foul or anything that stops the clock, look at the Eagletown boys and scream call time out, but don't make the signal." Sure enough with about 30 seconds left, the ball went out of bounds, our boys started sceaming call time, and an Eagletown kid fell for it and signaled for a time out. Naturally they got a technical and we got two free throws and the ball back. We won.
