Honestly though,not having adequate clearance between the barrel lugs and slide during unlock is the cause for many a custom fit barrels demise at about 4k + rounds. St. Greyson the patron saint of OKC 1911smithing would tell you that himself.

this is the pistol i'm shipping to Nighthawk for stripping and nitride refinish, they'll check it out. locks up well and racks easily, all that being said i'll likely have Nighthawk fit one of their barrels to it as well
