Spike's works with multiple OEM machine shops, you're just paying for the dueling dongs.
I had a Spikes and Sold it in favor of a Grizzly LAR lower. Grizzly was way nicer. The AR I have now is built on a PSA Gadsen snake lower.
Seekins is pretty good and looks very stylish too.

I guess I'll take OEM over mom's garage any day....
I have an original Unbrella Corp forged upper lower set hidden in the closet. Someday it might be a gun, or someday, someone will offer me a ridiculous amount of money for it and I'll sell it.

Some OEMs would be taking a step up by moving into Mom's garage. Point is, Spike's are made by the same people, on the same machines, from the same forgings as the cheap lowers that many dismiss because they're too cheap.
You should see a doctor about that.
