Starbucks Tells Baristas to Remove Pride Flags From Stores

Starbucks has instructed workers in at least twenty-one states to remove Pride flags and decorations from stores, in a move that has enraged workers, according to the union Starbucks Workers United (SBWU).

Baristas at stores have reported being told to remove Pride paraphernalia, Casey Moore, a spokesperson for SBWU told The Daily Beast. Workers in Oklahoma were told “it was a safety issue related to the recent attacks on Target,” Moore said, while in Massachusetts, workers were told “they didn’t have any labor hours to decorate for Pride.”

Starbucks workers at a store in Madison, Wisconsin posted on Instagram yesterday that their district manager had torn down their Pride decorations because they weren't “welcoming for everyone.” Starbucks did not respond to a request for comment from The Daily Beast.

So doesn't pretty much everyone know by now where Starbucks stands on social issues and gun rights. Don't really see how this could hurt their reputation any more with conservative individuals and will now alienate the rainbow mob they were trying to show support for.

Their insurance covering it is a far cry from "They paid for it".

My insurance covered my shoulder surgeries - but I garandamtee you I paid most of it.

I don't believe that part.

Think what ever you like the paid for his shift lead who was quote transitioning to go to California have the surgery done and paid while he/ she was going so make yourself feel good and believe whatever you want i met the person.
