I agree 100%. I work 60ish hours a week at a job I hate, with people I despise, because it pays well. We weren't really talking about whether or not to take the job, we were discussing why people don't put in 100%.

True - that may correlate more precisely with the fun factor - unless there's so much fun going on that the productivity suffers - the other extreme, but have seen it happen.

The caption there is just about spot on, with one exception: Politicians don't WORK! They're too damn lazy to work, which was why they got into politics in the first place. Stealing other people's imaginary money is not work, but it is what politicians do.
