Suppressed .17HMR

I shot my Savage 93 that I threaded for the first time through my Sparrow SS demo can. All I can say is WOW. It was more impressive to me than .22. It made this rifle extremely enjoyable to fire. I hadn't been shooting it much because of the cost of ammo but i think it will make it into the car more often now.

Nice! I'd wondered how the .17hmr would do with a silencer since it's solidly in the supersonic range.

I haven't been in any rush to try it because I was in the same boat as you. Once I fired that first round I had a nasty grin on my face. It was so awesome.

Dude, I put one round through a .17 hmr of a neighbors...

It put a nasty grin on my face even sans suppressor!

The cool part about the .17,s is they have a very small "sonic" signiture so the crack associated with super sonics in a suppressor is MUCH less....Yep a grin everytime! KurtM

I'd have to look at it. Some of the leaver guns are all but impossible to thread.
