I finally got to take the challenge. That black square sure looked bigger on the computer screen. It was a lot of fun though. I really enjoy shooting with iron sights from a sling, but clearly I need a bit more work if I am going to clean this target.

This last one I tried doing in under 30 seconds. Well it was certainly not as good.



The rifle is a simple A2 style AR15 with a Turner Sadlery sling. There is nothing really fancy about it and it is what I consider a 'rack grade' rifle. Even so, it is still one of my favorites.

Scope is fine.

I had the target in my range bag at the Appleseed last weekend, and even got a chance to do some shooting after the students left, but I forgot to get it out! I did do a couple 5 round groups in a row that were both inside an inch square at 25m with a M1903 MkI though.

Nice rifle ASP... I like rack grade!
