Er.....I carry HST in my P9. Would also carry Gold Dots, but I ended up getting the HST a little cheaper a while back. Can't go wrong with Gold Dots, HST, or Ranger T.

If you shoot a short bbl .38 wheel gun I would chose the lightest JHP you can find. Most JHPs in .38 don't have the velocity form a short bbl to expand.
