Hey All,
I'm always on the lookout for a surprise to buy for my wife.

Well, she loves to play Blackjack at the casino's in Las Vegas, Louisanna and Mississippi. Well, there's one casino in Lake Charles she was asked to leave....winning toooooo much money. The pitboss had security escort us off the property.

Any way, our last trip to Vegas got her wondering about Texas Hold 'Em. She would stroll by the pit of slower amd quieter casinos....where the old guys were playing. It intrigued her and this is where I ask the questions.

Does anyone recommend a good dvd to practice with on Texas Hold 'Em? One that you have rented or own. I'm looking at renting and buying some of Annie Duke's videos.....any good?

I know, I know, if my wife was that good, we would live in Vegas. 1. She doesn't win every time, but at least she breaks even. 2. She's too scared to drop .....too much money....there are loosers. 3. Vegas wasn't built on winners.

One of my wife's Master's is in Physics. She loves numbers amd loves number challanges. I hqve practiced with her at home and at a bar, with six decks of cards and she is good!!!
So, she'll take a scientific approach and a mathematical veiwpoint on poker. Yes, we have taken classes at casinos....they're too short in time and no practice.

Something for her to sit in front of the tv for 4-5 hours to practice with, each time she practices.

Texas Hold Em...dvd....beginner to moderate player.
