Three goodies of a different sort were "Fail Safe", it's more serious clone "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" and "On The Beach". Real downers.

Is that sarcasm? Seriously? Dr. Strangelove is one of the greatest comedies of all time.
