when I got out of the army, Colt carbines sat right next to the Bushmasters and were the same price $650, pick your poison, both excellent and built the way the should be circa 1990.

Tell me about it. I just put two 300 Blackouts together for less than I have in any of my other AR's. Just under $600 for one and $625 for the other.

The falling AR market certainly doesn't do any favors for folks trying to sell their higher-end AR's. Why fork over $1500 or even $1000 for a used AR when you can get a perfectly good, brand-new AR for half that?
