April 19. The day we remember the horrific bombing in OKC and the burning of the Davidian compound.

We should also remember that today is the date of the "shot heard around the world." The day in 1775 that Patriots decided to protect their right to govern themselves by taking up arms at Lexington and Concord. The American Revolution began.

Yep and both the OKC bombing and the "shot heard around the world" were responses to the actions of the then government.

McVeigh was a coward!!! What he did should never be compared to the shot heard around the world. The battles of Lexington and Concord did not needlessly target children, women, and other innocent victims.

I never said he was anything less, all I said was he did what he did because of what happened at Waco on the same date. It was revenge for the deaths at the Koresh compound which the FBI were part of and who he blamed for them. So comparable only in they were both responses to government actions.
