Tonight I brought home a piece of my childhood

I had a chance to buy a firearm that is straight from my childhood. Thanks to carready I got my hands on a Winchester model 290! When I was 12 years old this was the first gun I ever bought, well kinda my uncle bought it for me but it was my money. I am so happy to have another one as I lost my first one to a ungrateful ex girlfriend..... Anyway here she is

I will try to get up some better pictures tomorrow. I am debating on if I want to shoot it with irons or a extra 3-9 scope I have..... One things for sure she is going to get a nice sling.

Yea a cheap old crossman kinda like the Gleinfield that came with this one. But I found it to not be that great and tossed it. My old one I mainly shot open irons on, but now I don't own a rifle that don't have a scope. I think this one might end up the exception.

Your young, shoot the irons now. Later in life you can go to the scope.
