Twixt the Gamma Goats and the M151A1 life was good boys unless it was winter or raining or really hot outside.

For anyone not familiar with the Gama Goats, a co-worker once told me that they used them to pay out communication lines between outposts and bases. He also said that when a unit was moving, the Gama Goats were put in front of the convoy to prevent the rest of the vehicles from going off and leaving them behind.

You forgot the hearing loss from being in the cab, it was required to wear hearing protection to drive them at least when I was in the Army it was
