Coast Guard 1911 is just not attractive, as far as I am concerned.

There is a move to get these reproductions made for the USMA, USNA, USAFA classes with the graduation class crest and year. It is up to the committee to come up with a design that the company that works hand in had with Colt will do the decorations.
I imagine they'll go for a couple of grand or more...
I'll ask my buddy who told me about them... this is the first I've seen of one and I feel the coasties are might proud of it. They'll never be fired, just put on the wall...

Firearms were not meant to be "billboards". Some of the designs look pretty good, but I'll stick with blued steel.
