This might end working out pretty good for us taxpayers.

If they take too long too hold elections, by US law the 1.5B in foreign aid we give to Egypt every years is withheld.
If they take a couple of years to hold elections we stand to save 3B dollars right there.

Yeah, it's not BarryO riding to Morsi's rescue, it's Senator Leahy. If Barry were so hot on supporting the Islamists, all he'd have to do would be call it a coup, and the stream of dollars to the Egyptian military would stop.

Obama threatens to intervene in Egypt and restore Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood to power if the Egyptian Military does not do it first.

"I now call on the Egyptian military to move quickly and responsibly to return full authority back to a democratically elected civilian government as soon as possible through an inclusive and transparent process, and to avoid any arbitrary arrests of President Morsy and his supporters. Given today’s developments, I have also directed the relevant departments and agencies to review the implications under U.S. law for our assistance to the Government of Egypt." President Obama

If President Obama uses US military assets to restore President Morsi, he is a traitor and is revealing himself as a ally of Muslim Terrorists! Prepare yourselves, Fellow Patriots!

lol, wtf is this dude thinking

Yep, he is saying that is "troubled" by Morsi's removal and wants the military to hurry up and restore power to a freely elected official. How did that work out for them last time?? It seems they might have rushed the process. They don't have a clue how to run a well thought democratic election and it showed a year ago. They got pressured to do it quickly by the US then and now the US is pressuring them again. How can and why does he intervene? Does he feel embarrassed because he backed the process and Morsi's admin the first time?FFS can we just stay out of their damn business??? Of yeah because we're giving them "aid" that makes it our business...grrrrr and we muck it up every time.

It's things like this that makes me agree with Oliver Stone on something.... and that isn't an easy thing to say.

Right now I am more worried about what Turkey might do. The Islamic leaders of Turkey are facing smaller protest but almost as often and do not get along with their military either, plus they are supporters of Morsi and might feel the need to try and back him just to keep their own people from getting the Idea of pulling what the Egyptians did.
