Just freaking lovely. As soon as the debt ceiling was increased the Treasury borrowed $238 billion.

The new borrowing took total public debt to $14.58 trillion, over end-2010 GDP of $14.53 trillion, and putting it in a league with highly indebted countries like Italy and Belgium.

And the stock market takes a nose dive. It's a great thing we got this debt deal taken care of. How could obama even think about running for re-election, I think this is just more proof how disconnected he is from the U.S. If you can't do it, step aside and let someone else take the wheel.
