Wall Hanger

We just got a new house and it’s our first with a fireplace. I’m looking for an old gun that’s no longer serviceable to hang above the fireplace. I gave someone an old shotgun here about a year ago and now I regret parting with it. Preferably a side by side. Rusty and crusty is best but I’m not opposed to any old gun as long as it would look good above a fire.

Many years ago I used to haunt pawn shops,,,
I was looking for the exact same thing,,,
Old shotguns I could turn into lamps.

Surprisingly enough, there were a lot of them out there,,,
I'll bet with a few phone calls to local pawn shops,,,
You could find exactly what you are seeking.

Maybe even ask about beat up reproduction muzzle loaders,,,
They always look good above a mantle and should be easy to find.

I wouldn’t mind a muzzleloader either. They definitely can have the look we want.
