West Norman shooting yesterday; shooter was CLEET instructor

The dead man was a friend of a coworker. He was a young man, with a young family. Dead because two men decided to trade egos in the middle of the road, presumably over some perceived traffic injustice.

At least two shots fired by the retired LEO. He apparently lived in the area; not sure about the victim.

Any guy with a gun, is not necessarily a good thing. A situation, like many which play out everyday, got out of hand, and the lives of two men, and their families and friends, were changed in many ways. Having the gun present this day, was not a good thing.

Just curious, what was his race? A witness in Norman said the victim was a black man. True?

Update-- witness apparently mistook the guy as black. A woman with the last name of Reyes is saying on social media that it was her brother that was killed and that he is Mexican.

They haven’t publicly identified the victim yet (as far as I’ve seen), but he wasn’t black. Not sure how that is relevant at all though.

Yeah, just curious on whether or not it was accurate. I think we all know that there is absolutely no way that race could be involved, LOL
