I am not sure, but the ones we used at the local trap range were either black with orange tops, or black with white tops for shooting under the lights. When hit squarely at short range with full chokes, they would turn to dust. I would guess the color would be dependent of the color of targets used.
Probably all orange. Around Okla. orange or yellow dome with black base are the most popular. They make many colors.
Clays are like styrofoam cups, they are produced in many plants across the country to cut shipping costs. For Okla. Remingtons are made in Ada and White flyers are made in Webb City Mo. Maybe these plants don't make all the different colors or maybe the solid colors cost more so nobody orders them.
