I’ve got a thing for surplus firearms and equipment…

I know Atlantic firearms was recently selling old cz83s from Czechoslovakia

They are basically Czech copies of the Russian Makarov. Chambered in the Russian equivalent of .380

Going for about 350

Not bad.

SKS are still pretty cheap

Mil-surp rifles, Mosin - Nagant are pretty reasonable. Ammo was cheap and everywhere, but seems to be getting scarcer.

2 grandsons grabbed them up. Both are accurate and ballistic .308 equivalents.
They have been very happy.

Turkish Mausers are still relatively cheap, at around $350 for a decent rifle.

In general, mlsurp has gone down about 10%-20% in the past 6 months.

I picked up a nice 1944 M1 carbine mail order for about $1150 delivered last month. It needs a spring replacement, but seems fine otherwise. There are bargains to be found if you look around.

Sorry for the rambling post.
