Which SW is close to the same size as a Chater arms 44 slp bulldog 2" barrel.
An N frame 2"
Or an L frame 2"
Hoslters for a chater bulldog are hard to find in leather. I can wet form a hoslter if the size is close .

I would guess the N frame since it's a little larger.

The charter arms .44 bulldog is not the same size as the N frame S&W. I'd put it in the Lframe size at most.

What about the Charter off duty.38? I am looking for a pocket holster and maybe an iwb.

I think the bulldog is larger than a off duty frame

The Charter "Off-duty" is roughly the size of a J-frame, actually just a hair smaller, and the "BullDog" is right at K-frame size.

How well does a 44spl do on a k-frame size?

What are K frame md numbers ? I have a sw shoulder hoslter (marked SW03 32) that was suppose be for a N frame I wet molded to fit the bulldog. So if someone could throw out some Md numbers that mit work , some hoslter companies do not list hoslters by frame styles N K L X.

How well does a 44spl do on a k-frame size?

The Bulldog .44spl. is a gun that is meant to be carried alot and shot a little. When S&W brought out their 696/ .44spl L-Frame, it still didn't have enough steel in the cylinder to handle loads such as Elmer Keith was running through S&W N-Frames such as the pre model 24's, and model 24's. As to the 696, it was a good gun as long as you kept your loadings at 200grs or less, and muzzle velocities around 900fps. Compaired to the Bulldog the 696 is a tank.
