White South Africans take up arms to stop gov from taking their lands

I always wondered what the difference was (or why) between what the US has accomplished in the last 150 years verses what some other countries have not accomplished in 500 years.

I always wondered what the difference was (or why) between what the US has accomplished in the last 150 years verses what some other countries have not accomplished in 500 years.

I believe that the theory of "American Exceptionalism" has some merit. Fundamentally, we're a country of immigrants--that is, we're a country of people who chose to give up everything they knew and take on an expensive and dangerous journey to take a chance at what might be better. That spirit got us across the Atlantic a couple of centuries ago; when England tried to limit our potential, it gave birth to a revolution; when the North tried to limit the South, it gave birth to another revolution. We were born of a self-selecting group (statistically, a huge selection bias--in this case, a good thing), and the values of our forefathers have been passed down, if unfortunately diluted. Still, it offers some explanation as to who we are.

Instead of this we should air drop and few boatloads of weapons and munitions to them. Let them take their country back.

well it sucks for them that we did a better job with genociding and colonizing over here. 91% of the population in north america isn't native american. lazy underachievers shouldn't be asking for help now. i don't want these lazy losers coming over here reaping the benefits of us doing on our shores what they couldn't on theirs.

clearly the solution is small reservations for white south africans. i(w?)hs, car tags, casinos. minorities need to be cognizant of their place in the strata

Self-explanatory, Dennis.Those Afrikaners (what are they dutch?) didn't have the fortitude to genocide their way to hegemony even though they're white. They had the power to take it but they didn't have the power to keep it. That's their look-out. Why make it our problem? They just need to stay over there in Africa and take up as little room as possible selling cigars and blankets and dealing cards. They were actually too under-achieving to do what they needed to do. We should relinquish North America to those that crossed from siberia during the ice age with that thought?
How many generations must pass for that to happen?
We have given a large part of North America to what are called "native Americans" already with treaties that said as long as the sun shines and the waters flow.
Is a drought sufficient to break that treaty?
