Killed another. This one was even bigger. 1/2 mile from public land.

Hey OB, you ever eat any large boars? If so, how were they? Just curious
I have cut butt hams and backstraps out, soaked them in salted ice water, draining water out daily for 3-4 days until water is pretty clear after overnight soak. I sell/sold the "organic" (his words) meat to a guy in OKC who is always wanting more. I know that is not exactly the answer to your question, but it is testament to someone's desire to acquire more.

I have never had wild hog that was properly cared for, that didn't taste delicious. It is lean white meat and tastes great smoked.
