Young bucks already making scrapes

Funny you posted this. I found a scrape about 10 days ago but kept my mouth shut because I figured everyone would think I was nuts and didn't know what I was talking about.

I was checking things out around the biggest persimmon tree I've seen a couple of weeks ago and found a big scrape.

I've been told that as soon as the velvet drops they're looking for does.

Do you hunt with anybody ornery? I heard from a friend, one of the best ways to keep another hunter in one spot is to make half a dozen or so mock scrapes around their stand. If you pee in em, it really looks like they're being used...

The Bucks on my place have been hitting my mock scrapes since the first weekend in September. I started putting as many mock scrapes as i could around travel areas, then hung a camera on the one they hit the most.
