What have you done to prepare today?

Bug bags are not only for fight or flight, but rather any time you need to leave in a hurry.. Fire, flood... Um were in Oklahoma so tornadoes.

I guess a bug out bag would work great for Tornadoes....if you can find the bag afterward, and had a reason to "bug out". I'd rather hang around the place, looking for lost things, and guard what was left from possible looters than to grab my stuff and run off somewhere. Now if you're talking pre-storm, then I'll be more concerned about getting my kids into a shelter than having a bag full of stuff to pack with me. Try to keep flashlights, etc, in your shelter.

Not so much that but public displays of what 'cha got there are just not my thing. And besides all work and worry makes for a miserable existence. If you can't have fun while you are getting ready for the end of the world what's the point??

I don't know what you guys are talking about. SHTF almost every day at my house. When I get home and my wife's been chasing around our kids all day trying to clean up and do laundry etc, and I've been kicking back at the office getting coffee brought to me for 10 hrs.... mama not happy.

I tried packing a bug out bag the other night, but man... then the s REALLY htf.
