Back in the good ole days, you could actually trade stuff too. Guys were more excited about swapping guns for a while than making money off of you.

I have had two or three really good trades recently. I just ignore the + retail stuff. I'm picking up a couple of things tomorrow that were less than 1/2 new.

Sometimes when I see a crazy price on a new, or "low round count" item for say $180, I like to pm a link to the OP with the same thing from a website for $99 w/free shipping. Is that jerky?

The good deals are still here. The're just here whenever I'm broke.

I don't understand the problem. If someone is asking too much for a gun then don't buy it. Do you expect people to sell their guns for less than they could get for them just because it's OSA?

I've notice the trend as well. A LOT of items are way over priced here recently. It just makes it a bit more of a hassle to browse the classifieds, as the ridiculously priced stuff clutters up the board and makes the good deal harder to find. I used to check the classifieds about multiple times a day, but now I'll check it every few days.

No, Im saying that MSRP(&+) prices are trending lately. (particularly armslist). And if they are
over priced...I don't buy them..neither does anyone else and the ad begins to get reposted continuously. Also, I don't expect people to sell their guns for less than "what they can get". Because "what they can get" generally ain't MRSP!

Agreed that it's more common lately to see ridiculous prices. Of course no one is paying them (Hopefully) but it signals a change from the past where guns were priced to move quickly. I've gotten some of the best deals ever right here, and still see some competitive prices, but is less and less common. Like Armslist, Gunbroker and others. I scratch my head thinking why someone would list a gun so far out of reasonable range, and "LNIB"...WTF?

Of course it's a no no to post sarcastic replies to for sale listings (Like links to the same gun NIB for $150 less) but there's always the star rating system.
