Calling any other 9x18 a Makarov is like calling any .45 acp a 1911. These things have 27 parts, and are uber reliable. I have owned a ton of them, but am down to just a couple that I still carry and one Soviet made one that is sort of a collector's item. Your best bet is to find a Bulgarian one. It'll have a "10" inside two circles on the left side.
