Hold the bills up to light and look for the magnetic strip.

also look that the face on the bill matches the face on the right side that you will see when holding up to the light. $5 bills have a big 5 on the side.
Red and blue fibers are on all mint paper.
The magnetic strips are not located in the same spot, On a twenty the strip is all the way to the left and says twenty usa, on a five its to the right of the middle and says five usa.

Ive seen some $5 bills that were bleached then reprinted as $100 bills. The conterfit pens only show if its mint paper or not so using a pen on a conterfit will not always be correct method to identify a fake.

Ive also seen conterfits that looked to be marked by a counterfit pen but was actually a coffee stain made to look like a conterfit pen was used on a legit bill.

Where do you get those pens that can tell a forgery? So much of that stuff going on now with these HD printers, I'd like to have one to check the cash.

Yes, I said cash.

Staples in Stillwater. 3 of them are 6-8$ or so. I never do a FTF without one. You guys catch the counterfeit story on the news in Stillwater? The fake bills were actually pretty good.

I read the post of the seller to get a flavor of who they are
I read the feed back on the seller to determine vibes.....
I show up at the sale looking like the business man I am
It all goes just fine

I keep records of every gun I have ever owned,,,
When I sell a gun I try to obey the law.

I have the name of every person I've sold/traded to since the year of 1968,,,
If they won't show me some picture ID to get their name from,,,
I won't sell or trade with them.

I've always told them up front about this absolute requirement,,,
I'm amazed that so many people try to refuse me at the time of the deal.

I am paranoid about becoming an accidental felon,,,
Then losing my rights to own a fieryarm.

I'm even more amazed that people will blithely ask me to take that risk.
