Except they consider a lot of things that I use on the farm as not tax exempt.

Exactly. I bought a couple of trailers from them to haul implements. They won't knock off the tax.

I just use the receipt at the end of the year, so its a wash.

I've never heard of it either, and now Streak is telling me there's 7 of them! Learned something new today. Only new about the farm tax and the Military 10% here and there.

I like tractor supply. When I use the farm tax ID that they keep on file, I get an itemized list of purchases that can be used for tax exemption at the end of the year.

We have a new Atwoods under construction as we speek. I haven't had a lot of dealings with them. I hope they do the computerized purchase thing that Tractor Supply does.

Anybody know if they do?

Lowe's now offers a 10% military discount to all active duty military members, members of the Guard and Reserve, retired military members and their immediate family members. The 10% Lowe's discount also applies to disabled veterans and their families.

I think Home Depot does as well. You have to present proper military ID, or ID from the VA.

At our Lowes in Mustang they will take military or a vet American Flag on your drivers license.

As far as sending you receipts at the end of the year, I don't know, but they do keep farm tax exemptions on file. They look it up by phone number at the register, just like TSC.

Muskogee Lowes only accepts the VA Medical Center ID card for the discount. The American Flag on the drivers license identifies you as a veteran, not a disabled veteran.

No they dont send you anything. I try to avoid going to the Atwoods near me, hopefully yours will be better.
