For two Summers, the wife and I have worked in Indiana, Tennessee, and Wyoming and lived in hotels while working. While there are breakfasts in the hotels in non-covid times, the bacon is thin enough to read a newspaper through.

Glad to be back home to some nice, thick, home-cooked bacon. Shoot, even IHOP and Denny's bacon can't touch what the wife buys and feeds me.

For some reason the thought of chocolate covered bacon just doesn't appeal to me.......fried bacon is great just as it is so why mess with perfection ?

If I'm craving bacon I want it just like this.......

Electric skillet and dorm fridge will work for bacon in a motel or dorm room. Not sure if it was allowed or not, but neither was the case of beer I smuggled in the laundry basket I carried out 10 minutes earlier. Lmao

This last Summer in Indiana, at one hotel, someone set off the fire alarm 3 or 4 days trying to cook in their room. Instead of cooking in the microwave unit, they had an open hotplate. Hotel staff had to threaten to kick them out. We left before we found out if they left or just quit trying to cook.
