Ours went out at 12:19:10 AM. Came back on at about 12:19:30 AM. It was rough but we made it.

And nobody wanted my generator when I posted it for sale. Cheap, too.
Power is still out here. Prediction is it won't be back on till Saturday. Thankfully we've got a generator to run some fans off of along with some other stuff. Cooking is done on a gas stove (that Joe would ban if it were up to him) and our grills, one of which is also gas.
Gas is in short supply too, out of 7 stations we drove by, 4 were completely out of gas here in Owasso.

Well power came on about an hour ago.OG&E just emailed me and said power would be restored by 10PM on Thursday here in Bixby...
I bought a 5550 watt portable that same year after the storm, but never needed to use it. It just sits, and sits, and sits (sheltered). Just a quarterly or so run to exercise it and test connectivity to the house (and burn gas!). It's been used for its intended purpose just one evening for an hour or two. I do store treated gasoline and try not to let it get too old. A standby permanent generator would be a huge waste of money for me. I did buy a soft start kit for the main A/C so I could run it on the generator also.
I was at 101st and Garnett today at Cedar Ridge Assisted Living center. Didn't see a lot of damage.
I live about 1/2 east of there, we got minimal damage here compared to midtown folks, I’ve been over a lot of the area and feel very blessed !
