I spoke to a friend of mine who owns a couple stations. He has 100% gas in both of them and its a significant part of his business. He has heard no such rumors this year, although he's heard that before. He is going to check with his suppliers and let me know.
I use Clark Oil pretty much exclusively. They are a distributor here in OKC. I visited with them Friday about 100 going away, (that's all they sell) they didn't know anything about it.
I guess this turned out to be another rumor without substance since I filled up with ethanol-free gasoline last night.

Agreed, was just another rumor. It would require too much to completely discontinue 100% gas, there are too many lawn care equipment manufactures who specifically say not to use Ethanol in their engines. I know it doesn't sound like much but imagine how many homes those products are in currently & the amount of inventory the manufactures have on hand. It adds up quickly.
Even some QTs have ethanol free pumps. The one on 11th and utica does now.
That is too cool! QT is reacting to the demand.
What's the price difference with the 10%?
Usually about 20 cents more. For me its well worth it though, my ol crown vic doesn't like corn in her gas.
