There are still Gibsons and OTASCO stores actually.

Bought my first gun at Montgomery Wards. A Western Field 20 gauge shotgun made for Montgomery Wards by Mossberg.
That was back in the early 1970’s. Just sold it a few months ago.

I remember Boman Twin having movies for a quarter during the summertime days. Gave moms a break...saw several of the Godzilla movies there.

Yep had to clip the ad in the newspaper out to go with the quarter

I am sure that someone has mentioned this but OTASCO. A local manufacturer of gardeining and lawn equipment sold a lot of merchandise to this store chain.

Someone said Mcartneys grocery stores. They used to give kids a free cookie at their bakery if you behaved and asked nicely.

I remember they had those vents that blew cool air up at the entrance to keep the air conditioning in.

Logan & Aims (clothing store), Lawrence's, Cattlemen's Restaurant (Kingfisher version), Timber Lodge (bar and restaurant), Tom's Drug, F&M Parts, Co-op Gas Station, Klinsick's Machine Shop, Lumber Yard, Bill's IGA, the hog and cattle Butcher place in Okarche, Montgomery Ward, and of course TG&Y (Cracker Jack center of the universe)

As I recall, the general thought at the time was that she got the better pizza, but he got the better business.

Yeah she ran it into the ground and Mazzio’s continues to this day all around (I still don’t like them) but for a while for a while there MazziOS did offer a thin crust Ken’s original and i did get a few of those LOL
