I was in Santa Fe last week and they had great snow. People were coming down from CO because it was better. I was in Taos about a month ago and and they needed snow bad. Thankfully all of NM has received a lot of snow recently.
I tried snowboarding back in January, at 40 years old it might have been a mistake. I finally went to the doctor yesterday because my hip pain has been increasing. Right now he has me on a prescription anti inflamatory. Hopefully it's just bursitis in the hip but he said it was in an odd place...
went to wolf creek and snowboarded for the first time, both my wife and i really liked it, what other good places are there for snowboarding (especially in driving distance)

I really enjoy boarding southern Colorado. My favorite places would have to be Telluride, Silverton, and WolfCreek for pow riding. Took a quick weekend trip to Red River, it is icy as ****. Yesterday it slushed up around noon and was decent until the sun moved over to the backside of the hill. I'm sure these first few hours today will be icy as well. Keystone has been getting hit with a few inches of pow every few days. I hope it keeps it up until end of March. I have a 6 day board trip coming up.
how is it in durango?? is snowboarding there any good?? what about new mexico?? any places there

Haven't been to Durango in quite awhile. New Mexico isn't bad, just make sure you wait until after a decent snowfall or you will run into hard pack.
Just got back in from Keystone.. Looks like my season is over.
