Anyone remember Mashburn Arms

I think my brother took me in there once around 1979-80 when I was 11 or 12.

I remember stuff being everywhere and the guys were dicks, but it was cool as hell as a young kid.

Mashburn was THE regional gunstore in the 30s -50s. Would love to go back in time to visit.


Building still exists.

I shot a 300 Mashburn mag in a FN action custom.
felt recoil, barrel lash and loudness all over the top.
I have seen several trap guns they sold over the years.

Mike Mathews stole the name after the original location shut down. He has since rebranded his sh!thole store as Gun World in Del City. Man I hate that guy.

I had good times in Mashburn. Never bought anything but I liked looking.

Looks like Osbourne Electric owns the Mashburn Arms, LLC name now.

Not sure if that is the same Mashburn though.

I know the high priced Gunworld owned the name for a while. Is that Mike Matthews?

He was a reserve Oklahoma county deputy for a while. I dont know if he spent his time in the jail though.

And there was Southwest Shooters down the road on Reno and Virginia. The gunsmith was a kinda red haired fella. Nice guy if I recall.
