The buck I'm hunting has been coming in early, so I got on the stand at 4:45 this morning. I saw two bucks (not the one I'm looking for) and two does. I also saw two tom turkeys and killed the biggest one.
No deer at all at Lexington today. Saw 1 squirrel and 1 dove. Too many people there this morning. I almost sat on someone in the dark.
So far the only ones I have seen on the way to Claremore the last few weeks, have been thrown into a ditch by passing vehicles.
Should have been hunting yesterday instead of going to the class reunion.....
He's probably 3 1/2 yrs old. 11 point. I'll have to get a human eyeball on him to see if he's a shooter.
